La Veduta - Luxe Apartment with Leie View

Perfect Location! Clean, Modern and Spacious Apartment Positive: Perfect location with Tram literally in front to Gent-Central station. We ended up doing lots of daytrips thanks to that. Lots of amazing food places right below and the actual old center was 5 mins walk away. The entire mall strip was next street. 10/10 for Location. Super modern, spacious, clean and well stocked apartment - Had everything we needed to live with two young kids (< 5 year olds). The lift helped get luggage/stroller up and down, we hardly needed the stairs. The Hosts went out of the way to buy equipment for our toddler (new cutlery, high chair, etc) and were very responsive to any questions and requests we had.

Our stay was spoiled by the mosquitoes and the construction noise in the apartment upstairs. Positive: Good location, close to downtown. Restaurants and groceries nearby. Public transportation is close. Parking is available but not super close. The apartment is generally well-furnished. Negative: We were not satisfied: we found 7 mosquitoes in the apartment during the first night, which prevented my wife from sleeping. We noticed that the mosquito nets on the windows were poorly installed, which let the mosquitoes enter. During the day starting at 8 am there was construction noise in the apartment upstairs, which is owned by the same owner. When we contacted the property manager, she offered to send a worker to fix the mosquito nets, but we declined as we were afraid that more mosquitoes would come in while the worker was working. Das Apartment und die Lage sehr schön. Der einzige Kontakt zum Vermieter unfreundlich. Positive: Sehr schönes Apartment, super ausgestattet, Gute Lage Negative: Das sehr schmale Treppenhaus und der winzige Aufzug. Es hat im Treppenhaus sehr unangenehm nach Müll gerochen. Die Bitte nach einer zweiten Bettdecke für das Doppelbett wurde abgelehnt. Das fanden wir sehr unflexibel und unfreundlich.
